Paloma Cocktail

Ingredients

  • scant ¼ cup blanco/silver tequila
  • 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed grapefruit juice
  • ½ cup grapefruit soda or sparkling grapefruit juice
  • kosher salt or sugar optional for the rim of your glass

Instructions

  • If you'd like to coat the rim of your glass in salt or sugar, see note.
  • Fill the glass with ice. Add the tequila, lime juice, and grapefruit juice and stir to combine. Add the grapefruit soda. Taste and adjust to suit your taste preference. Garnish with lime and/or grapefruit wedges.

Notes

Salt or sugar rim:
  • Cut a slit into a wedge of lime and run the lime wedge around the rim of your glass.
  • Pour kosher salt, sugar, or a combination of both onto a small plate and dip/twist your glass into the mixture.
