Coconut Margarita

These creamy and refreshing Coconut Margaritas come together in minutes with only five ingredients. The flavors of sweet coconut, fresh lime, and tequila will make you feel like you've been transported to a beach.

Ingredients

  • 2-3 oz silver tequila
  • 2 oz cream of coconut
  • 1 ½ oz coconut milk sweetened or unsweetened
  • 1 oz freshly squeezed lime juice
  • ½ oz orange liqueur triple sec or grand marnier
  • toasted coconut and/or lime wedges optional garnish

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients in an ice-filled cocktail shaker. Shake vigorously, then pour into ice-filled glasses.

Notes

Prefer a larger serving? Combine the following in a pitcher:
  • 1 to 1 ½ cups silver tequila (depending on how strong you want it)
  • 1 cup cream of coconut
  • ¾ cup coconut milk
  • ½ cup freshly squeezed lime juice
  • ¼ cup triple sec/orange liqueur
Depending on how thick your cream of coconut is you might need to use a whisk to combine the mixture. Pour into ice-filled glasses and serve.
