Cookie Sundae – An indulgent ice cream sundae filled with the flavors of a chocolate chip cookie. Cookie dough ice cream topped with hot fudge, whipped cream, chocolate chip cookies, cookie dough balls, and chocolate chips!
It’s the day after a long weekend. Are you back to work? On your third cup of coffee? Counting the days until Friday? How about if we dig our spoons into a giant Chocolate Chip Cookie Ice Cream Sundae?
We kicked off summer this past weekend by enjoying this sundae. And let me tell you, it did not disappoint.
This sundae is loaded with all things related to chocolate chip cookies – cookie dough ice cream, chocolate chip cookie pieces, cookie dough balls, and chocolate chips. Then I topped the whole thing with whipped cream and hot fudge!
This sundae is super easy. I used all store-bought ingredients, except for the cookie dough balls. I made those, and they came together in about 10 minutes (and they’re egg-free, so you can eat them without worry).
You can use vanilla, chocolate chip, or cookie dough ice cream for these sundaes. And if you really want to go all out, I have a recipe for Ultimate Cookie Dough Ice Cream (cookie dough flavored ice cream, filled with cookie dough pieces).
