Coffee Smoothie – A healthy protein-packed smoothie filled with the flavors of coffee and vanilla.
Hello there! Today I’m bringing you a recipe for a protein-packed smoothie that tastes like a vanilla latte (yum!). And since it’s the end of the month I’m also sharing some links for my Around My Table month end feature.
Coffee Smoothie
This smoothie is my new favorite! It is thick and creamy and filled with the flavors of coffee and vanilla.
The coffee flavor comes from espresso powder and coffee yogurt. The vanilla flavor comes from vanilla almond milk, vanilla protein powder, and a touch of vanilla extract.
This coffee smoothie provides just the right amount of caffeine to get you going in the morning or to get you through your afternoon slump. Plus, the protein will keep you full and satisfied for hours.
Now, grab yourself a drink (or a smoothie!) and pull up a chair. Let’s check out some scrumptious links from around the web:

Yummy! I love the idea of using coffee flavored yogurt in a smoothie – especially when it’s added into a smoothie with even more coffee. I need to make this some morning very soon!

Can you use plain protein powder? And is there a way to not use yogurt? Can I use coffee almond milk. And ice and protein powder, vanilla a bit of honey? Or would that be gross??

I like the thickness the yogurt adds, but you can definitely leave it out. You can make the changes you suggested, just adjust it to suit your taste. Enjoy!

This smoothie looks so nice. Perfect for breakfast. Lovely recipe, Allison!

I am counting my macros. Are you able to provide nutritional information for the recipe ?
Allison
Hi, Dawn. I just updated the recipe card with full nutrition facts (down at the bottom). The nutrition information does NOT include additional sweetener as that would be to taste. Enjoy!
Vicki
Just need to know if this is for one or two shakes
Allison
It is for one smoothie.
Mysti
Can you actually taste the banana in this recipe or is it just to make it creamier?
Allison
I find that the coffee flavor overpowers it. You can leave it and just add more ice if you’d prefer.
Dan
Excellent smoothie. It tasted exactly like a vanilla latte, with just a small hint of banana. I followed the exact recipe, with no changes. Chobani Coffee definitely yogurt makes a difference in the recipe. Really good and highly recommended. Thanks again.
Allison
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for stopping by. 🙂
