Caramel Apple Cider Floats – Creamy vanilla ice cream, salted caramel, and bubbly sparkling apple cider. Summer meets fall in this festive and delicious treat!

Apple cider float in a mason jar with caramel sauce. Hello, friends! We are approaching the last official weekend of summer. How will you celebrate? We’re spending our Labor Day weekend with my family. Our plans include swimming, sipping cocktails, consuming large amounts of Mexican food, and seeing how many people we can fit into one house. Labor Day traditions are holding strong over here. 🙂

I will admit that I’m not shedding any tears over the end of summer. I’ve enjoyed every bit of summer and I am so ready for Fall! I have been baking up a storm, and I can’t wait to bring you lots of new pumpkin and apple recipes. But, before we jump into all that deliciousness I’m bringing you the perfect recipe to bridge the gap between summer and fall – Caramel Apple Cider Floats!

Vanilla ice cream, salted caramel sauce, sparkling apple cider, and a swirl of whipped cream. Super easy and super tasty!

This “recipe” couldn’t be simpler. You are pretty much just assembling: scoop, drizzle, pour, swirl. You can handle that, right?

My kids rarely get soda, and when I introduced them to sparkling apple cider (which they affectionately refer to as “apple soda”) they were smitten. The addition of ice cream, caramel sauce and whipped cream pretty much blew their minds. This is obviously not an everyday treat, but hey, let’s end summer with a bang.

Side note: Grown ups could (and should!) spike their floats (oh, yesss). I’m thinking a generous glug of apple brandy would be perfect. Do it!

Enjoy every sweet sip! I’ll see you back here next week with an Autumn explosion. Don’t say I didn’t warn you. 😉
